They came about as a way to bring web dwellers to watch TV again, and I think it definitely helps to create buzz.</p><p>As for web series (or video podcasts or video blogs), those are here to stay... instead of being a marketing ploy from old media, they are indie creations made primarily for the web. Sure, maybe a bunch of people will use it to get jobs in TV, but there will always be indie creators trying to get their work seen.</p><p>My two cents... but there's definitely a big difference between webisodes and web series that most people aren't bothering to highlight.</p>Casey McKinnonMon, 15 Jun 2009 14:23:46 -0000
